About the Program
Join a unique 7-day trekking journey along the Korean DMZ. Walk the DMZ Peace Trail and discover the history, culture, and natural beauty of Korea's border region. Guided by experienced staff, you'll visit observation points, historic sites, ecological areas, and local communities while trekking approximately 8–9km per day with participants from around the world.

Participants will meet at the designated meeting point in Seoul and travel together to the starting location by chartered bus.

What’s Included

Accommodation (6 nights)

Accommodation will be provided at local guesthouses and lodging facilities along the route. Due to the limited accommodation options in the DMZ border region, participants will share rooms with 2 to 7 people, depending on the accommodation and group arrangements.

Participants should be comfortable sharing rooms and common facilities with other participants. Room assignments will be arranged by the organizers. We appreciate your understanding that the focus of this program is experiencing the unique landscapes and communities of the DMZ rather than hotel-style accommodation.

Meals during the program

Meals will mainly consist of traditional Korean cuisine, typically including rice, soup, and a variety of side dishes. Dining options are limited in the DMZ border region.

Vegetarian requests can usually be accommodated to a reasonable extent; however, we may not be able to fully accommodate vegan, halal, kosher, or other specialized dietary requirements throughout the program. Please let us know your dietary restrictions when submitting your application. We will do our best to accommodate your needs whenever possible.

Minimum age: 18 (*Participants aged 13–17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.)

Physical fitness

Participants should be able to comfortably walk 5–13 km per day and take part in outdoor activities throughout the program.

Participants who are determined by the medical staff to be unable to continue safely during the program may be asked to withdraw.

Participants must carry their original passport or Alien Registration Card (ARC) throughout the program.

Applicants are required to provide their full name, date of birth, nationality, passport gender, contact information, and address during registration. This information is required for entry into military-controlled areas.
